Travel helps us see the world, and our own lives, with new eyes. Here’s a video of Thailand like you’ve never seen it.

The technique is called “tilt-shift” (though redditors argue it’s really “psuedo tilt-shift”) and it basically turns real video footage into something that looks like a miniature scene — as though you’re looking at a world of little toys.

Whatever it is, it’s beautifully done. Credit goes to Joerg Daiber, who made the film (and /r/travel for discovering it).
