I don’t consider myself an artist, but I do enjoy designing (including creating our mascot) and have done a fair amount of work in my day. I’ve snuck things into artwork before (like a small shoutout in our holiday hipmunk logo) so I really enjoyed spotting this in Virgin America’s fabulous pre-flight safety animation.
Pay attention the next time you’re getting ready to take off — you won’t be disappointed. Especially if you found that flight on hipmunk
During the video, we encounter a matador who’s never used a seatbelt with a bull sitting beside him. He’s reading something…
Enhance!
That’s right, a magazine with “OLE” on the front and what appears to be a cow (heifer) udder on the back. As far as bovine anatomy goes, that’s a rather racy (though not by European standards) thing for a bull (male) to be reading on a plane.
To the artist who slipped this in: I congratulate you. Well played!
Here’s the set. Ever catch something like this? Let us know in the comments!
