Timelapse of Kuala Lumpur takes Malaysia’s capital city from day to night

This is a Hipmunk post from Jodi Ettenberg of Legal Nomads.
Singapore-based photographer Rob Whitworth’s stop-motion traffic video from Vietnam has been watched over a million times, and with good reason: it provides us with a view of the crazy motion from Ho Chi Minh City in a way we’ve never seen before.  The same can be said about his new time-lapse, a video weaving together 19,997 photographs into a story of Kuala Lumpur from day to night. Says Rob:

Super-modern buildings juxtaposed with various cultural enclaves and with a little of Asia’s chaos thrown in. My time lapse explores how the city changes from day to night highlighting how spaces dramatically alter during the course of a few hours."

Watch Malaysia’s capital as you’ve never seen it before.
