Yesterday, at the PhoCusWright conference, I announced some exciting news. We’ve signed an agreement with ITA Software to use QPX—a tool for finding airfares. ITA is one of the best in the world, and powers many web sites in the US, including Kayak, Bing Travel, and several airline websites.
We’re going to use QPX to get even better fares and fare ability information. What this means to you: in the next few months, you should start seeing even fewer cases where a flight is cheaper somewhere other than Hipmunk. And we’ll be able to develop some great new features, too.
