A whole other view of the Bay Bridge

This is a Hipmunk post from Jodi Ettenberg of Legal Nomads

Those of you in San Francisco surely saw the storm that pelted the city last night. But few likely witnessed this incredible moment of lightening hitting the Bay Bridge, as captured by photographer Phil McGrew:

According to an interview with the Daily Mail, McGrew took the photo out of his window in San Francisco, capturing the storm in full throes.

For more storm photos, SFist has a gallery of user-submitted pictureshere. If that doesn’t quench your thirst, the The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has their own lightening gallery of mesmerizing photos.

Have any lightening photos of your own? We’d love to see and feature them – leave them in the comments or send them to sabrina@hipmunk.com.
