After a great holiday week in England (affectionately known as Christmakwanzmakkah in my family), my brother and I are driving to Scotland tomorrow with friends … and about 80,000 other people. New Years, known as Hogmanay there, will be a few days of street parties, concerts and getting soaked in the forecasted pouring rain.
